Exactly , the m/f doesn’t have anything on the lug , the b series one has a number 1. I don’t know why someone would go through the hassle of getting the guns serial number engraved on it. Either way it’s a useful barrel , I really like ic/mod chokes.

Here’s a pic to clear up any confusion I’ve created. I’m new to sxs shotguns and to Parker’s.

You’ll enjoy shooting that gun either way and as you’ve said all the choke options you would want. Well done and enjoy the heck out of it!

Well , I’m very happy indeed. I went out today and shot a case of 90 clays and dropped 9 using the BHE barrel set. Chokes seem a bit tighter than advertised as I was able to hit some further than I thought and they exploded the clays. This was just some informal friendly hand throw between me and my brother in law. No real hard shots except on accident a few times. The gun shoots as lovely as it looks. I’ll be going to a trap match Monday to see how I fare against a machine throwing.
