Cut down stock would be a deal breaker for me. My 16 Trojan was untouched and 500 dollars less from a dealer. Did not think I bought it cheap, but it fit well and no mechanical problems. Way I see it no sense quibbling over a few hundred dollars, if the gun is right for you. If it's not right don't buy at any price .

Josh,

As recommended above, the Classified's section for members occasionally has some nice Parker's for sale plus other nice doubles, accessories, etc.

Another great source to see and handle nice doubles is any of the classic side by side shoots that are held around the country.

The Southern in NC next month, the NE at Hausmann's in PA in early June and various others. Just check out the events section and watch for those topics elsewhere on the site.

Lots of nice doubles to look over.

There was a 16ga Trojan at the Ohio Gun Collectors show this weekend.30% case colors,90% blue.28" barrels, looked all original.Could have been bought for $1600.A good rule of thumb is a 16 will bring twice the price of a 12 and a 20 will bring 3 times the price.
