I just read your story “The Shell” in the current issue of Parker Pages.

You and I seem to be ‘joined at the hip’ theoretically because our writings and subject matter are so much the same.

I also have a collection of rusty (mine are unfired) shells that I have collected from blinds, mostly in North Carolina. Maryland waterfowlers don't drop good shells on the blind floor. They are an unusual display to say the least.
