I just read your story “The Shell” in the current issue of Parker Pages.

You and I seem to be ‘joined at the hip’ theoretically because our writings and subject matter are so much the same.

I’m going to PM you and ask for your email address so I can send you a story that I wrote a couple of decades ago and it is so much like yours.

I also have a collection of rusty (mine are unfired) shells that I have collected from blinds, mostly in North Carolina. Maryland waterfowlers don't drop good shells on the blind floor. They are an unusual display to say the least.
