It belongs to a friend. I didn’t go over to the dark side.

Trust me on this one my friend the dark side doesn't start with the initials A.H. but the intials L.C. come to mind.

The shells are harder to come by than the guns themselves. I'm fortunate that my three had the shells with them.

There are several variations of the Fox Play Gun. Most have a top-lever, but some just have a stud for a barrel lug that engages a spring clip in the receiver. Top-lever above, spring clip stud below --

Some have a fixed hinge-pin and some have a spring-loaded hinge-pin which allows the gun to be taken down. The lower gun is a Fox Products Co. and it has the spring-loaded hinge-pin --

Now just need a leg-of-mutton case for one.

These A.H. Fox Gun Co. ads both show the top-lever --

Don’t let my serious demeanor fool you, Daryl. I was only joking.....a little.....kinda.
