Default Impulse buy

I stopped into a big outdoor store to break up a long trip home last night. They had a 16 ga VH that looked pretty good. Honest wear on the receiver no. 1 frame no buggered screws not refinished as far as I could see 28 Inch great barrels I'm partial to 16s I gave them 2800.https://ibb.co/67wxLVV9

Good for you! Love the 16s myself. A good solid VH in 16 with 28" barrels can go nearly anywhere and do anything well. Chokes?

I measured chokes today and they are tight for what I want. they are mod and full. Since It will be a backup grouse gun I may open the chokes. I will shoot this weekend and see if I will keep it. I gave my last too parkers to a Young man I was mentoring and a hunting buddies nephew.https://ibb.co/67wxLVV9

Good for your Allen. I was happy to get a VH 16 1908 gun at the Northeast SxS and paid a bit more than that. All original, 28" F&F. I will open the chokes a bit for birds, full tapered of course.
