2025 North Carolina State Trap Shoot
1 Attachment(s)
I just finished up the 2025 North Carolina State Trap Shoot and the Parkers made their presence known in the Tar Heel state. Two weeks before this tournament a strategic decision was made to shoot one gun for both singles and handicap, and that gun was the Parker SAA. I think it was the right move.
Parker highlights from the shoot are as follows: Event #4, 100 Singles, the SAA won High Gun with the only score of 100 straight. Event #7, 100 Singles, the SAA tied for Open Veteran with a 99x100 but lost in the carryover. Event #8, 100 Handicap, the SAA won Non-Resident Veteran with a 92x100 from the 27 yard line. Event #11, North Carolina Doubles Championship, the GHE won Non-Resident Class A Champion with a 91X100. And the SAA and GHE in combination won Non-Resident High Over All Veteran Champion with 914x1000. They placed 9th over all for the entire field of shooters, both resident and non-resident. For the tournament, the SAA went 489x500 in singles or 97.8%. Not bad for a couple of hundred year old Parkers. Next stop, Tennessee. |
Congrats John!! You're the one the PGCA is so proud of! Well done!

I shot the NC State shoot at Bostic for 15 years. Not the easiest place to run a good score! Congratulations, John!!!
|
Scott, you are right. I found Doubles particularly challenging there for some reason.
|
Congratulations, John. You — and your Parkers — continue to amaze.:bowdown:
