She must have read my disappointment on my face or in my voice - maybe both.. I dun'no...?? So - this AM - sent her a dozen roses to her office in an arrangement I helped design.... The card I sent - was actually a sympathy card from the florist - beginning "With my sincerest sympathy" imprinted across the top.. I could tell you what I wrote below that - but, it's kind'a sappy... So - I went hunting with my dog for four hours instead this afternoon - a wonderful fall day in New England... I'm happy. My puppy is happy. And my wife is happy... That's my story - and I'm sticking to it...  John |

Congratulations, John!!! I told you, "you were pretty smooth", you came through again. Just joking a little about Vanessa, she wouldn't go, but she would want to try to make sure I got to do what I wanted, but I probably wouldn't want to do anything much on our anniversary.

bob that was a great story . that hen will draw in many moreturkeys for you hopefullya lot of big old toms....my wifes not into hunting but does understand my passion for it and old doubles...hope you and your wife many anniverys in the hunting blind....charlie
