Many millions have been fired on the trap fields, a classic.

I try to always have a flat of them around for when I need the good smell. Killed a Pheasant with one out of the right barrel of my old 1914-vintage A-Grade Fox on 8 November 2010. I have a handful off old Federal paper 16-gauges, but didn't use any today when I was out with a 16-gauge. Bruce is right about cost. The invoice in my currant flat is $108 plus Washington State sales tax!!

Hummm! I didn't think the price was all that bad. I just sent for 10 boxes for $76.99 + $11.00 shipping.

So what's the deal with the different smell? Is it the paper shell or a different type of powder used in these shells.

Does anyone know how much pressure these generate?

I don't have any info on the T118, but I bought a few flats of Golden Medal Extra-lite paper T172 years ago and was curious about pressures, so I called them. The tech said "we like to keep them around 9500 psi." T172 is 1 1/8 oz. @ 1100 fps. I had hopeday to used them in my damascus guns but 9500 is too high. So, I shot about two flats into my steel barreled vintage double designed for that pressure. I did work up a 6500 psi 1oz @ 1150 fps load in those hulls and have killed a few wild roosters with it as well as quail with my damascus guns, by loading them with either 7 1/2 or 5 shot.

If you're willing to send a handful to Ambrust for testing, them T175 with 1oz @1180 fps sounds promising to have low pressures.
