Give us the exact measurement between the firing pin centers. This will determine the frame size. Yes, there are #3 frame 12 gauge guns.

I took a second measurement and from the center to center of the firing pins it measures 1-1/16. Does that make sense??

In The Parker Story there is a table of measurements of frame dimensions, other than spacing between the firing pins, common to the different frame sizes. Take a look at those also. It might help to understand if the gun was built to "heavy" specs.

The actual weight of the gun is not posted. One frame 12 ga guns weighing 8 lb plus are known in that serial range. See the recent PP article on frame size vs weight
