How did Parker brothers put guns back on face .I have a hammerless that was sent back in 1897 for reblacking and to have action tightened.I can see a rectangle of metal about 3 mm height and 5 mm length extrnding back from the joint.This is only visible from the left side; no evdence on the right side..The area is faint but well defined;I don't think I can get a clear picture.
