Photos of various forms of rib matting are provided for those viewers interested in such details. Meriden/Aubrey rib matting is very close to Parker rib matting but not identical, as the Parker matting was more "squiggles" per measurement than Meriden/Aubrey.
Parker, Meriden, Aubrey, and Remington barrels/ribs are obvious. The last two photos are of Lefevers, first a custom grade then an E with chain.
