Note that it has 3"DAH. Not many people like that. I happen to shoot 3"drop just fine, and have a 28" VH12 with 3"drop and looked at this gun a few days ago. I bought mine at quite a discount because of the DAH. It would likely have been somewhere near $1000 more if it had been flatter. I don't see anything in the pictures that alerts me. It certainly is in excellent condition. I might question the collectible status call though. A V grade has to be something pretty special to be very collectible. The screws on this one are not perfect; it clearly has been taken apart, perhaps with the wrong screwdrivers. It has a little wear plate on the dolls head; is that correct/original for the vintage? I like that it doesn't have a recoil pad in place of the spurred butt plate.

Probably six pounds, fourteen ounces.

I wondered about human error. I'm hoping to find of these beautiful AH that has an extra, erroneous zero but no luck so far. As far as the dimensions, it brings back this recent thread I started which I thought had a lot of good discussion
http://parkerguns.org/forums/showthread.php?t=31859 I am passing up a lot of guns because the stock is off too much. I'll go within 1/4 or 1/2 but not over 3/4" off at DAH. I'm a bad enough shot already. Anyways, as always, thank you for the help, I learn a lot here.

High stocked guns are out there, you just need to be patient, and don't buy one because it calls to you with its 3+ inch drop...like I still do(!)

I'm finding this out. I can find stocks with the right dimensions they're usually of a grade I can't afford though.

If anyone had ordered a 9 lb. Parker with otherwise standard features, Parker would not have built it on the 1-frame, it would have been built on a 3-frame or at the very smallest, the 2-frame.

My guess is Mr. Murphy is correct. I have a couple of 1 1/2 frame 12 ga. guns w/ 28" barrels and they weigh at or just a bit over 7#.

But, for what it's worth, last year I found and purchased a VHE 12, PH 20, and GH 20 all with high dimensions. Keep looking. You'll find one.
