173847, a CHE 16 gauge with Acme Steel barrels, straight grip, splinter forend and SSBP has a stag on the flore plate. I would love to show pictures. Unfortunatly I sold it some 15 years ago.

Here's mine, an 1896 CH Bernard gun.
Oh well... can't really see the running stag in the picture but trust me, it's there. . |

I have a CHE two barrel set with a Stag on the floor plate. The second set is rifled.

James, we need to hear more about that gun. I would assume it is Doctor Snavely's old gun. Dr. Snavely was quite proud of it but I don't know if he ever shot bullets out of the rifled barrels.
