Default Yard Sale Find

Great find at local yard sale, 16 boxes of 28 ga shells. 5boxes of 9s, 3 boxes 7 1/2s, 3 boxes 6s, 3 boxes of 1 oz 6s-ouch, ouch, ouch,, and 1 box of 4s.
$150 for them all.

Said he hadnt had a 28 in years, was an Rem 1100.

you sure lucked up on that yard sale...even a 28 ga 1100 rem. would be ok with me...happy shooting....charlie

I got a Rem 1100 in my sights right now.As new in the box.
That was a great find in todays ammo market.

no, they are plastic hulls. I do have about 20 Winchester 28 ga paper shells(unfired), DONT KNOW IF THEY ARE WORTH ANYTHING or just shoot them.

I too, have several boxes of the old Win. paper 28 gauge shells, Harold. I picked them up @ a Lake of the Ozarks gun show back in the 70's, and still have them..! I can't bear myself to shoot them.

I do remember the smell of the Federal paper hulls I first used to begin reloading on an old Lee set. Nothing like that odor...
