Daniel Boon was my great great uncle on my cousin Alberts side of the family.
All of Uncle Boon's guns were to come to me in a will he wrote on a bear hide. therefor the gun is rightfully mine so please forward ASAP Please post pics when your new treasure arrives. |

True story: there is a guy who lives in Eagle, Alaska, the prettiest village on the Yukon river - Jack Boone - who is a bonified relative of Dan'l himself. He had an excellent old fashioned dry goods store in Eagle when I worked there in 1990. Quite the character.
