There is a GH 8 gauge that has ducks on all 3 engraving patterns. That would be a good one. The land birds on mine look like turkeys and that is very appropriate

That is definitely a woodcock in the wrong place, from what I know about woodcock. Also don't recall hearing them found in the wide open rolling prairie. Maybe it is suppose to be a King Rail, which I understand to be related to emus which can vicious birds requiring max fire power.
