Greetings Folks,
New Guy here.
I use the same user name on all other boards I frequent. I was recently gifted an old beat up Parker Double Barrel. 1887 manufacture, matching numbers on the Receiver, Barrel and Forend. Doing some research found this board. http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...k/000_0154.jpg http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...k/000_0157.jpg http://i240.photobucket.com/albums/f...k/000_0159.jpg The wood is beyond salvageable, the barrels i dinged and dirty. They metal needs to be cleaned and oiled. But it's mine... :rotf: |

Hello Anthony ,and WELCOME ABOARD !!! Stick around this site long enough and you will contact that little known disease , " PARKERITIS " , it's impossible to get rid of once you get it and I can almost assure you even being a " Perimedik " you won't be able to help yourself ,there is no cure ! You will know the symptoms once you have it ,this Forum will be your first stop in the Morning ,then you will go to Gun Broker ,Search only in " Parker " then on to Guns America etc.etc etc. Cut your grocery bill by half and slide a little extra in your Gun Money Stash ,start saving change ,even selling Blood occasionally ,Oh yes ,you will know ! Russ :bigbye:
