New owner here, and just bought this sxs hammer gun. I want to shoot it, but how do I know what size shells to use? Are they standard 2 7/8? Thanks.

Yes, they take a 2 7/8 inch shell. There are a few makers on the net that sell these.

Thanks. I bought some RST shells for another shotgun, so they should work then. Anyone know of a gunsmith in Southern Middle Tennessee that could verify the gun safe to shoot???
