Hello from Minnesota (and Colorado)

Thought I'd drop in here to gain some knowledge and information as I embark on the journey of a Parker restoration.

I'm currently at Trinidad State in Colorado taking some gunsmithing courses, and will be taking a course on double guns with Dennis Potter starting next week. For a project gun, I acquired a 12ga VH, which dates to 1900. It needs a lot of work -- the triggerguard is (unfortunately) mismatched and doesn't fit well, it's missing the safety selector, the stock is in rough shape, and the finish is almost completely gone.

On the upside, the buttplate is intact :cool:

When I'm not here, I live in Minnesota. This (and the other two shotguns I acquired for the course) is my entry into side-by-side shotguns, so I'm looking forward to diving deeper into the subject.
