Parker reproductions made both double and single trigger guns, no one knows actual numbers but its been said about 50% of them had DT in the overall run and could actualy be more like 30%. Less than 1/4 of the guns I see for sale have double triggers. Me thinks way less in the hard to find short run models, maybe 10%? In recent times some 12 ga. guns have been converted from single trigger to double trigger due to rarity...just not many 12ga. repro guns availible with DT and 28" barrels. Sporting clays, steel shot spl. and the BHE grade guns are very scarce and I have never seen a original double trigger one for sale except for one that was converted from a single trigger. thanks all, SXS ohio...(-:

I have a 12 ga. in 28" IC/Mod, DT, 3" chambers (not a SSS), straight stock, splinter forend. Geez, I had no idea they were so rare! Maybe it's not so bad what I had to pay James Wayne to get it :vconfused:!

You have a good one Joe....few have 3" chambers, makes it even more scarce. Rats I must of mist one....(-: Post some pics of that one Joe....SXs ohio

I wouldn't necessarily categorize 28" 12-ga. repros with DT's, SG and SPL as rare. Two squadmates on the winter skeet league that I shoot in had them, but both have since sent them down the river of commerce. One identical to Joe's, the other fellow had a DHE 2-bbl. set with factory fitted B-grade barrels. I, too, have one---a DHE Sporting Clays Classic model.

Kenny, you missed the 20-ga. 28" BHE, SG, SPL, DT, 3", M/F with killer wood that Cabela's had a while back.

Its not the 28" barrels or the DT that make it so rare. It is the Ic/M choke and 3" chambers!!!

I'm convinced you'll likely never find nicer wood than that on a Repro DHE.

A perusal of the threads that surround us will strengthen my case.
