AH, BH or CH 20 with 30 or 32" barrels, prefer straight stock, original condition only. (I know where one of these are if it ever comes to market)
DH 30" 28 gauge, original condition only. (I have only seen one of these for sale in the last 10 years)
Any grade 32" 28 gauge, original condition preferred. (never saw one period)
Fox CH 20 30", prefer straight stock, original condition only.
Fox HE 20, original condition only. (never seen one for sale)

I am not looking for anything other than those listed. I promise.

A BH or AH 16, preferably Damascus barrels. A straight/splinter stock with dimensions I can shoot. Two triggers. Must have a skeleton steel buttplate and be from a pre-1920 engraving period. While waiting for this one to come along, I'll also consider what makes my heart flutter when I see it.:corn:

Craig, the 32" 28 and the 32" 16 hammer gun will require some check writing. I think I will bail out of my search for those two.

I have it in my head that the same look with hopefully the same feel (relatively close dimensions) will perhaps help my scores a bit . But I realize full well trying to shoot 8-10 different guns and getting the same performance I did years ago shooting a tube set with a couple extra barrels is for lack of a better term A PIPE DREAM :banghead:

The Parker affliction although it occasionally goes into remission, can show up with little notice. Just saying to yourself I don’t need anymore 20 ga, or I’m never buying another 12ga can bring on an outbreak!

Tom Wooden’s 20 gauge and The Uncle Taylor 10 gauge Parker that belongs to Harry Collins.

A Gr 2 or higher T/A hammer gun in 16 gauge uncut choked tight.

I remember at the Spring Southern many years ago, 2007 maybe? where Kevin McCormack brought me to the back of a gent's wagon where a couple of amazing Parkers were pulled out for me to examine.

One was a BHE 16 in fabulous condition, PG, Acme, DT, splinter with amazing wood.
But better than that was the other Parker - an AHE 20 gauge with 30" Acme barrels, DT, straight grip, splinter and great figure in the wood, also in excellent original condition.

The price for the pair was $60k and he wouldn't sell them separately... not that it would have mattered, my wallet wasn't that thick at the time.

I don't know where the AHE 20 went but I subsequently saw the BHE for sale for $40+k on an online site...

Kevin will probably remember these two beautiful guns.

Dean, I had to sit down when I read this -- because of the guns...and the potential hit to someone's savings (OK, my savings!).

I am laser focused on a VH/VHE 28g in 28" or 30". Stock configuration doesn't matter but dimensions have to be good. Looking for a shooter, not a high condition gun. If I don't find one before late January I hope to find one at the Las Vegas show. I'll be cocked, locked and ready to rock, Doc.

The 28" I will text you about should I see one in Vegas. I would have also done so on the 30" but you attempted to play your Editors trump card over me on Daryls gun. As such I fear that our relationship is no longer strong enough for me to lay off the 30" gun. It's all your fault so don't blame me :rotf:
