No surprise though that they had gone to Lawrence. A lot of crime and corruption emanates from that little city. On election day Nov. 6, ballots collected had to be placed under armed guard because of the corrupt government of Mayor Willie Lantigua and the highly contested elections where he won by 64 votes in the previous election.
