Hi Edgar, I think I had a snap cap but not sure. After reading some threads on this forum I make sure I have one now. Tom

I am going to go with broken sear spring.

Got my gun back today----no broken parts---they just removed the trigger plate and cleaned the 106 years of gunk off the internals---put it back together and all is well----shot a box of shells and all seems fine. Craig

Must be clean living to get off that easy!! Congrats!!
