On doves with my 20 gauge Parker Trojan. Looking forward to joining the Doubles Club and getting a doubles pin. This was at Turnbridge Plantation in Levy, South Carolina, this afternoon. :usa:

Thanks Charlie and Destry. Official goal is doubles on quail and ducks with different Parkers. Will add turkeys once my turkey hunting skills improve. . . . .

Well done. Haven't managed that yet but on some days I get a double single malt. Maybe this season I'll get the elusive bird double.

There were some dandy doubles shot by our Quebec crew. Don had a double on blacks and so did I. Kevin had a double on mallards and a double on blacks in the same afternoons shooting! Now that was something to witness I can assure you. I'm the only one that qualifys for a pin though. Don did his work with a Fox and Kevin with a Superposed.

That is great. Nothing like getting a double. As to whether it was luck or skill, I take the fifth.

Nice going and claim skill. Who's to argue?

Your 20 gauge Trojan is in way better condition than mine

Thanks. It needs a new checkering job on the stock and maybe some tightening, but works well for right now.

It is the smallest gun I own and worked really well on this particular hunt as the birds were literally swarming all around
