Browning

I have a question on the process of "Browning" the barrels of a Damascus Barrel shotgun. What I am asking is, Can the barrels be "Browned" if there is blueing on the barrels? Thanks..

Bill, My BH that I posted pictures of in another thread came to me blued. The bluing can be removed and rebrowned(or reblack and whited)...:)

American damascus barrels were black and silver. British damascus tubes were brown and tan..or maybe brown and white. Least that's what I've been told and it is what I see.

I like keeping damascus tubes looking damascus so future owners will know what it is and shoot it accordingly.
