Pic 1: A pair of Pintails and Mallards shot at Fish Point. The tight choked (0.048/0.040) GHE damascus did everything I could ask of it.
Pic 2: Two nice Redheads and a Canvasback out of the Layout boat. A Can and Redhead came in together and I was fortunate enough to double on them. With some help from Destry that had to chase the Can down.
Pic 3: The first Old Squaw I have shot was also with the Parker.
Pic 4: Layout boats in the background on a rather flat afternoon. Me with Mark's Fox HE on the bow of the tender boat. Mark was gratious enough to let me use the big fox in the layout. I was very fortunate in that I shot 4 Kent TM loads and killed 4 ducks. A double on Redhead, a Drake Mallard and a Ringneck. I am thinking I need a 10lb Parker 12ga with tight chokes....

Bill,
Yup, for $7,000 anyone of us could buy that DHE 12 on a #2 Frame that reportedly weighs appox 10 lbs!
If the gun is on a #3 Frame and in very good condition maybe $7k, maybe...

That is a really nice DHE.......too nice for the swamp. A couple grand less would make it much more appealing. I have never seen a 2 frame that heavy.

Charlie,
All you gotta do is come up, between all the Michigan locals I'm sure we could show you some gunning.

Wouldn't it be great if us Parker guys would share and trade hunts?
I moved to Michigan 4 years ago and prior to that had never hunted in a layout boat. thanks to Inspector Parker, otherwise known as Dollar Grade Kurt, I've had this experiance for several days over the last couple of years.
For my part, I invited another well known Parker collector to bring one of his 95% Parkers to my goose farm, I mean my pond. Family obligations curtailed his participation and as luck would have it, on opening morning 4 Canada Geese came into my pond. Since the limit was 2 and there was only me (and my dog of course) I allowed 2 of those Canadas to leave after the excitement was over.
So, maybe we should think about hosting our far away Parker friends on hunts?

I would say very high condition but not a lightweight. Amazing that a waterfowl gun like that got so little use. If it is your cup of tea make them an offer. Itis agreat Parker IMHO Best,Paul
