Hunting in Mich

Hi everyone, went with 2 friends to the UP of MIch last week and used my new to me VHE 20ga on woodcock.

Jim what area of the UP did you hunt? Have you ever gone to the UP shoot in the summer, a few of us Parker boys head up there every June, great shoot.

We hunted around Hulbert Lake, about an hour over the Mackinac Bridge, I was there last year also, nice area just look for aspen stands, found a good number of woodcock but not many grouse. I live in New York so its over 930 miles there,but we did it in one day.
