I have a Ghe that the serialization book is very wrong. One number lower matches perfectly. If I order a letter will it be according to the book or would it be corrected?

The SB was a transcription of the Parker records created by young folks with wandering fingers. Their work is 99% plus correct. The original records are more likely to be correct and our historian uses the original records. Order a letter.

Looks like the hang tag is available for the GHE also. Is there some way it could be verified it is for the correct gun? I would not want to pay for it if it also is not correct. Who has access to the records?

Last issue of PP had one set for sale in the marketplace. Call him, price is reduced.

Gerald, I have barrels for 234,605, identical to your gun. GHE 16, 28" Parker Special Steel. Order the tag. Don't bother with the letter. It won't tell you anything you don't already know.

Bill are your barrels chambered for 3 inch shells?

Bill Murphy

Never thought to measure the chambers. I'll try to do that today.
