Next to Dr. Oscar Gaddy, Dale was the master of Damascus refinishing and refinished several sets of Parker barrels for me before he retired from the business about 4 or 5 years ago. Dale was 81 - RIP Dale

I talked with him several times about the time he “retired” or rather quit accepting work and he said he had 3-4 years worth of work to finish up . Wonder if he got it all done ?

I saw on another forum that he passed on 2/28. Either way he was good at what he did and was always ready to talk.

RIP Dale. What a great guy! I still have the first 16ga he did for me, he did amazing work.

Reading about all the fine gentlemen that have passed, is sad to say but it reinforces that saying Live every day like it is your last! A lot of the PGCA members are getting older There is so much knowledge in that group, they laid the foundation for our group! Gary
