2024 Quail Season Opener

Arizona quail season opened yesterday. Many birds, a good deal of wind, a little rain and a lot of walking. Hunting with dogs would have improved success but getting a few shots with this antique Parker makes it well worth the effort.

Those are such beautifully colored birds…and the gun ain’t ugly, either. What a day you must have had with that special gun in a special place.
