Hello everyone,
I’m hoping that someone here can Identify or have any info on this type of Damascus. Any info would be greatly appreciated! These barrels are off of a 12 Guage, J.P. Clabrough diamond grade hammerless gun.

English Laminated. The gun was made in Birmingham or London England. Drew Hause will likely have more detail on them.

Thank you, Dean! This gun was made in 1889 and that would put the facility at 8 Whittall Street or 15 St. Mary’s Row as they had two locations at this time, according to Lawrence P. Shelton in his book “J.P. Clabrough Birmingham Gunmaker”. I look forward to seeing what Drew Hause has to say!
Here’s more info on this particular gun:

Sorry guys - not paying attention.
Dean is correct, and I think it is "3 Iron English Best" Laminated Steel which was the big winner in the Birmingham Proof House Trial

It carries Birmingham proof 1887-1896

Austin I'm on my way to two more Clabroughs First is a high grade high hammer 10 ga with 32" barrels a bit heavy at 9 lbs but the turkey will never know that!!! Nice wood , case colors, laminated Damascus very pretty, Heel and toe clips , nice wood,Jug chokes so hope to have some tight choke left when I get it. Net is one I'm contemplating a 30" high hammer medium grade sidelever which I've been wanting 12 ga, .06 chokes and beautiful Damascus some case colors and ok wood. 8 pounder gun but I own a Clabrough like this and it swings just fine it is a Centenial grade gun. Hope you are well I'm ready for dove to open and I've got plenty of birds at my spots today if weather hold as. Have a good season. let's see what gun do I shoot today????????

David! Those guns sound great! I look forward to seeing pictures of the guns with a nice Tom and a pile of doves next to them! I’m doing well and hope you are too. I hope the doves hold in your spot for opener! When is your opening day again? Mine starts on the 1st of September.

Austin I lost the sidelever to another player but hope the !0 bore still has my name on it. Our dove opens central zone and special whitewing on Sept. 1 Hope to find a spot in these zones but my real lease opens Sept 14 and if we don't get rain it will be a real shootout over waterholes. I looking forward to shooting at birds for the first time with the self opener sidelock Clabrough pigeon rib 12 bore. I will also enjoy the little low hammer high grade 16 bore gun that I shoot best of all. In the mix will be the 1880 Laminated Parker barrel Lifter $125 grade that has been spruced up with new left firing pin , tighten action and refurb of stock. It looks killer and shoots better than ever I will send you pic. Hope your season is fantastic and no matter what the bird count we will enjoy these fine old guns. Tex dove population up 44% so I have high hopes. Best to you.

Fantastic! I am hunting another clabrough book. Mine was just lost in the hurricane. The oiled and cleaned clabroughs were not.
