Stephen Grant hammer gun no 2788 completed in 1868.
Production commenced in 1867 so this is a early one.
The gun has non- rebounding hammers.:)

Hammers and a Jones underlever instead of the Grant sidelever, a very nice example. thanks for showing it to us,

David,
Very nice Grant. What length are the barrels? Is there any choke or are they regulated? I really love those hammers and Jones rotary. Neill

Thanks Neill.
The barrels are 30 inches longh and bored cylinder and cylinder.
I use 1 1/16 oz number 7 shot and at 25-35 yrds it;s deadly

David,
It is a small world! I looked at this gun via internet and went as far as to call Wayne about this Grant. You made a great choice. When you listed the serial number I knew it rang a bell for me. I could never could make my mind up about the open chokes. I am sure they are fine but I was looking at so many I could not decide. Let me know if you ever get tired of this Grant. Again, hittem hard.
