If anyone is in or around Montana or wants to make a trip up for a shoot this summer, here’s a couple of links to get more info. Last year was a lot of fun and a lot of clays to shoot at over a couple of days! Thanks for looking!

This sounds like a great shoot Austin and I like your rules. Maybe, just maybe a road trip might be in order if the stars line up.

Awesome, Daryl! The guy that coordinates it, Charlie has put it on for quite a few years now and he’s a great guy that has helped me a lot with checking and fixing a few things with my guns and build the love for these old side by sides we all share. Hope to see a lot of you there!

Sounds like a great event, but:

"Most any SxS qualifies due to their basic antiquated design."

Really?

I didn't know that Charlie was in on something like this! He's been a friend for many years. I'm actually the one who got him interested in s/s shotguns when I took my vhe20 along on a Montana hunt with him - all he had was his father's Mod 12 at that time. He's a "reformed" geologist and worked with and for me in Alaska and California in the 90's. He's a very bright and talented and self-taught gunsmith and is getting very good at engraving these days. I help him on Parker values sometimes when he gets one in the shop.

That’s awesome! He’s a great guy and always willing to help out! He actually spent time in England apprenticing with a gunsmith over there. I know that gentleman has passed but still has contacts over there and I believe that’s where he gets most of his inventory to sell at his shop.

I’ve signed up along with my brother who lives in Butte. See you folks there.
