Hunted at our local preserve today with our new ad manager, Andy Sacco. It was overcast, damp, steady winds and temps in the 20s. So, it was perfect!! Andy used his 12g VH and brought his young Decoverly Setter, Raisin. I used my “new” 12g fishtail top-lever Quality U hammer gun and brought along our Decoverly Setter Natty Jo. We made ‘em fly and made ‘em die!! Just another good day for dogs and hunters.

Looks like a good day fellas. Also looks like the IM/ Laser Beam chokes worked out alright in the hammer gun eh Mike. I knew you would learn to shoot tight chokes eventually :corn:

Well then why were all his birds still alive when they landed and mine were DOA??

A great day. Thanks for the pictures guys. Beautiful setters. I am going out tomorrow, but will consider it a success to even move a bird at our club. They were turned loose Nov 5, not many left now and are wary and in deep cover. Thats a great hammer gun Mike.

BWAHAHAHA!! Most of my guns are some sort of M/F, M/M or F/F. Choke is irrelevant as long as we put the muzzle at the right place. 😉
