This 1899 gun was unused since the death of its original owner at the WWI Battle of Vimy Ridge in April 1917. It was obviously used and well maintained up to the owners death. I’m told the family never used it again. I got it in 2021. On October 1, 122 years since it left Meriden, I had the pleasure to reintroduce this gun to its intended role. Four shots were fired flawlessly through this gun and I managed to have the bird and the shot pattern occupy the same space at the same time with two of those shots. I just may use this gun a lot. Cheers Jack

Jack, all birds taken fairly are special, the places they live in are also...and when you take them with a special gun, all is complete.

Congratulations!

The VH grade really shows off Parker colors well, and yours is a great example. Very nice gun with a great history.
