Today was the first chance I've had to take my "new" DHE 16/20 32" barreled gun to the dove field. Was using 1 oz. of 7 1/2 shot. Drew blood with the first shot (that's usually a good sign, for me!). Went on to take a 15 bird limit. I think she and I are going to "bond" very easily. I think I'll ask her out for another date next week.

Man!, what some tight chokes!

Not many shell cases on ground either.

Very nice Parker and very nice shooting! Looks like you chose the 16 barrels.

Yes, I did, Reggie. I'll take the 20s out on it soon.

How fun is that? It's like getting to date a pretty girl and then her sister, too!

Thanks for sharing this hunt. I count 15 spent shells on the ground too:)

That's just a coincidence, Ed. There were others.

Best I ever did, this side of Córdoba, was a limit of 12 (back in the day of the 12 dove limit) with 13 shells. I didn't miss, but had to shoot a wounded bird again. I was much younger then ..........

Stan how about scarring some of those birds over my way. They left this part of Georgia two months ago. Just now beginning to see a few. I have a new gun i want to try out. Good shooting and a great gun. Gerald.

Thanks, Reggie. It is totally gone when I look at that first post. Nothing left but a little blue square with a ? in it.

Be careful, Stan. Dating now...marriage next...

(That is one fine gun!)
