I was out on the Colorado shortgrass prairie again yesterday chasing coveys of scaled quail. What a day! Perfect weather and a skiff of snow. Thousands of antelope and I came almost face to face with a large cat...which surprised me because of how harsh the cactus is.

Shawn just got back from NM my 3rd yr blue quail hunt. Tough weather limited first day, half limit 2nd day. Shot my Parker DHE 16 and VHE 28 also Flues 20 ga grade 4 ejector. Know you like Ithacas. Best to you back to Tx for late season doves if they can swim too much rain!!!
