Congrats to you and Bud!
We have a five month old pup trailing scented bird wings in the yard.
Hope to introduce him to the real thing in the next couple weeks.
Wishing you and Bud many happy hunting seasons to come.:)

Great picture. What model is the gun ?

1925 VHE 20 bore 0 frame. 28” barrels which I’ve lengthened to 2-3/4” and choked .003 & .005. It’s a well used and very effective grouse gun in my hands.

Obviously so. Nice wood, original??

No, it’s been stocked to a 15” lop and less drop. It’s Parker in style with capped pistol grip and dogs-head buttplate.

It’s a good user gun that suits me to a “T”.

Wow, I have 2 1 year old female setters that will hit the ground this weekend in the UP, and am hoping for the same results. Those are the moments we live for. My go to grouse gun is an old beat up VHE 20 that has had its barrels cut (not by me) to 26 1/2 and is practically cyl in both now.
