Wood touch up

So I have a shooter with some finish wear, the stock has some really nice figure and was curious if there were anything that can be done, aside from a full restoration to get it to show and fill in the voids of the finish, once again thanks everyone! Its a really crappy picture but it shows were the finish has rubbed.

TimberLuxe is a very good product - quite possibly the best. I believe it can be purchased as a kit which may include a cleaner, if I'm not mistaken.

There are others such as Formby's furniture cleaner which will take off the decades of grime while not affecting the original finish. Then you can touch up the bald spots by wiping on the protective finish you want to use.

Yeah, Timberluxe is the best thing that i can recommend for your situation. If you do it, it is important to make sure the wood is clean. A quick go over with denatured alcohol will prep it nice for a top coat.

Careful with clening old finish, sometimes the dirt and oil are all the finish that is left....
