Each Championship will consist of a total of 100 targets (2 @ 50 bird events) for the 12g "Big Bore" and for either/or the 16g and 20g "Small Bore" guns. Rich, don't you have a Fox 16 ga upgrade/custom

Harold I sold it besides I don't really consider a 16 as a small bore.

Rich brings up good point. Should'nt the 12/16 be considered BB and the 20 be the SB all by itself?

20 small bore, 28 and 410 sub gauge that the way I roll:rotf:

Not for Fox. They added the 20 and 16 at the same time and considered them small bore. Especially when 10 and 12 ruled the day bagging game. Personally, I consider 16 and 20 to be mid-bore, with .410 through 24 as small bore.

BTW, it's not the tool that matters, it's the operator!!!

Got it! Now that you've thrown down the gauntlet I'll take on those 12's and 16's and may the chips fall where they may. Just make sure you spell my name right on those lovely trophies.:)

I'll do my best good buddy. I do love my Parkers but those smallbore Foxes (20ga not 16) are really a cut above the 20's from Meriden IMHO as far as handling. My 20ga. Fox has the same frame dimensions as my 28ga Parker.

Looking forward to seeing and shooting with you Daryl. The events remind me of when we were doing the Ansley H Fox Championship at Pintail Point a few years back. :)

Dave Noreen and Daryl at Pintail Point 2009. That year we had 31 Fox shooters in the competition.
