Will reminton parkers bring a premium over the Pre-remington Parkers if everything else is the same? Looking at a VHE-16 built by remington. Looks just like the original except has Parker printed under the hing on the belly and no widdows peak hard plate, just flate one like a GH grade. Its about the same asking price as a original would be in that same condition. May make a trade on it? Thanks all Kenny Graft SXS ohio....

Some like the Remington Parkers better and some do not... some see no difference yet, to me, there are obvious differences. The very late Remington Parkers are likely to be more collectible than early (Meriden) Remington Parkers, given the same condition. Personally, I wouldn't pay a premium for a Remington over a non-Remington Parker... given the same condition of course.

I agree with Dean except for me I find the early Remington/late Meriden transition guns very interesting because of some of the anomilies found in that range.
