Colorado Prairie & Scaled Quail

Spent Black Friday chasing scaled quail on the frozen Colorado prairie...found some nice coveys and had great dog work from my cover dog setter Gretchen. I hunted with an 1937 Ithaca NID 16 bore and would have preferred my Parker but the weather was bad :rotf:

Went back out on the Colorado prairie yesterday and carried the Parker...love this gun!
