New to me yesterday and I'm excited to chase birds with this gun!

Looks like a nice late-style Field Grade.

The basic "box" of the standard NID frame is the same size from the .410-bore through the Super-Ten. The height and width of the standing breech and the firing pin spacing increases along with the bore size. From the guns I've measured the firing pin spacing on the .410-bore and 28-gauge guns is 15/16 inch. For the 20-gauge 1 inch. For the 16- and 12-gauges 1 1/8 inch and for the Super-Ten 1 1/4 inch.

The power of purple , Shawn! Nice gun, I have an Ithaca 4E 16 that I have been bustin' clays with this spring and hope to use this fall.

Great looking gun. Have you considered having its case colors restored on the frame?

Thanks guys. Harold, I'd love to see a picture of your Ithaca. Ruff...how do you restore the case color. Good thing I'm a veterinarian cause I'm not good at anything else...but chasing bird dogs and tossing flies. :)

Good looking Ithica.

I have a 5E 12ga. I haven't shot in a while, this makes me want to get it out and bust some clays!
