Made the 2.5 hr drove out to Packsaddle WMA for the last day of Okla quail season. The Packsaddle is managed for the bobwhite with nice cover and plenty of quail houses. Never fails to move 4 or 5 coveys in 5 or 6 hours. Took a few pic's today. Hunted with 12ga 1 frame 28" with chokes that are not bad for quail and my two GSP: Pete and Ranger. Moved 4 coveys and made 4 shots which came up too 0 birds. Hunting alone today and a guy got to be on the right side of the thicket or it's a bust but happy just the same, it was a great Day to be out:)

Thats a great looking pair of GSP's and they get to hunt wild Quail. How lucky for the three of you.
