Brian Dudley is restoring a 3 frame DH 10 gauge for me and one of the improvements is a new set of no. 3 frame 12 gauge barrels, so I am looking forward to trying it out.

Photos will be forthcoming when the project is complete. She was a real wreck and needed almost everything. The finished product should be nice.

Are you having a set of 12 ga barrels fitted or are you having a set made from scratch?

All the rain we've had around here has made this a really rough year for mosquitos in Michigan. I'm looking forward to the opening of squirrel season but I'm also buying stock in OFF.

Destry, Will OFF take the finish off wood I have heard it would but certainly have not tried it to see, think I will try on an old stock that I have that is broken to see what happens, Gary

it eats modern fly lines - so i would not be surprised, but then maybe only the newer synthetic finishes

I use Buzz-Away almost exclusively. You can order it online. It is all natural and very effective against skeeters and black flies. It doesn't last but about three hours, but simply reapply if you need to. Anything with DEET gives me a severe headache and nausea so I can't use many products out there. We use Buzz-Away while fly-fishing and there is no effect on the fly lines.

OFF will make the finish sticky for sure, I'm sure it would remove it if it got too much on a gun. I don't put it on my hands except for the backs.

I just got done looking at those mosquito pictures that Flanders posted. I'll never complain again......

Yes , shot a few on the Maine opener, will try it more when the crows start to show up, as of now I am shooting my 2 frame EH and I am shooting it well I might add , I did try some of your 3 1/2 in. 12 ga. cut down to 2 7/8 ths loaded with 1 3/8 ths oz of bismuth 2's, 32 grs bluedot win. 114 orange wad and roll crimp. test shot showed a 75 % pattern , looks good for geese in the 12 ga. I shoot BB's in the 10 ga. on geese, scott
