Well Bill Janelle has shot his 1st turkey in the NH opener, after many outings and lots of bad luck ,it happened at 6:25 am May 3 rd 2013, his NH 10 ga. shooting a 1 1/2 oz load of 6's at 33 yds and hit where he was looking. 18 lb, turkey with 1 inch spurs and a 13 1/4 inch beard(wow). what a show too,:bowdown: now to get mine,:rolleyes: scott

It was a great hunt! Old 10 Bore, (Scotty) ready knows how to talk turkey.

really nice turkey...them old 10 ga will do a turkey in im glad you took him with a ten...now scott has to get him one.... charlie

well, my turkey season end today at 5:30 am, not the bird Bill's was and not the same show as Bill's but he sure acted like a big one:) shot it with my EH at 38 yds 1 1/2 oz 6's and it drop it fast:bowdown:, love the 10 ; scott

way to go scott... that sure was fast...whats the limit on ya lls turkeys... i m a true believer in the 10 ga as you are they have all ways seemed magical to me...that turkey should be proud to have been done in by the mighty ten.... charlie

Scott, thanks for the 10 ga. loads you cooked up for me. I see it is the same load you and Bill used, 1 1/2 oz #6 shot.... just what the doctor ordered. I've always believed in #6 shot for turkeys. Mine was 42 yards.
