Don't waste your time looking for a 1/2 frame set of barrels. They are far and few between. 1 frame barrels on a 1 frame receiver, 1 1/2 frame barrels on a 1 1/2 frame receiver and so on and so on.

Great point Scott. While you're at it Mike don't turn down a 1 frame 20. In other words a 1 frame is a 1 frame regardless of gauge.

Instead of confusing the OP with the 1/2 frame oddity, lets just stick to the guidline that the frame size has to be matched when looking for compatible barrel sets.
For the number 1 frame size, you could go with 12g, 16g or even 20g. 12g and 16g would be most commonly found. 20g would be rare.
