Has anyone seen the " Heart Stamp " before on the Barrel Flat , and what does it mean ? Russ

Russ, Check out page 582 in TPS. We are not sure of the meaning of these symbols. I have seen the sunburst symbol of a few late guns but never the heart symbol. Interesting....

Glad you asked Russ...

When we first began to see bumper stickers and window stickers back in the '70's of such things as "I *heart* My Labrador Retriever" or "I *heart* My Grandkids" or "I *heart* My Volvo" and so on and so on... we thought they were clever and novel but soon got sick of seeing them. Littel did we know that Parker (under ownership of Remington) actually started that fad with that little heart which, of course meant, "I Love My Parker".
