Thierry Duguet in Charlottesville has probably done a few. He is on youtube with many videos of his work. He is very good at gold work as well as other venues. He is also on facebook and instagram.

I do the work to the highest possible standards to match or improve what was remaining. It’s up to the client to disclose what was done. If someone asks my expert opinion, I am happy to look at engraving and evaluate whether it was repaired, authentic/original, or reproduction.
